When Seneca Lake was created by damming creeks, a farm was submerged. Supposedly the farmhouse and barn were never torn down and are still down there. One day a guy swimming there dove into the water and broke his leg and drowned. People sometimes see him swimming there or roaming the north shore of the lake.
