Blind School Towers and Roof
Towers and Roof

At the places where the two turrets used to stand there are narrow curved staircases which lead up into single rooms. These rooms have been painted, but looking behind the removed mantlepiece of a fireplace in one of them, some more 1906 graffiti was visible. The windows up here are boarded over.

From the middle section, if you climb a dangerously rickety metal staircase you'll reach a low crawlspace area with some more 1940 graffiti in it.

A hatch overhead opens onto the roof of the highest part of the blind school. Some nice views from up here.
